CharityBo saves us time and effort while supporting charitable organizations

HELBUS is a private Finnish business school where students can earn Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Administration from the University of Northampton while studying in Finland. The collaboration was initiated after CharityBo reached out to Helsinki School of Business.

− The idea that someone would collect bottles from us at no cost and at the same time we could do good was, in my opinion, an excellent proposal, says administrative officer Elodie Magnier.

− We save time and effort. Sustainability is the cornerstone of our operations, and now we can support the work of charitable and innovative organizations that are meaningful to us.

Previously, a volunteer employee at the Helsinki Business School office collected the bottles and took them to the recycling point. However, large quantities of bottles sometimes accumulated.

− CharityBo offered us a systematic and organized approach. We have assigned a person to supervise the collection of bottles twice a month. Everything has gone smoothly, and we have also placed collection containers in the auditoriums used by students.

− The collection containers keep the spaces tidy and encourage responsible recycling.

According to Elodie Magnier, bottle collections have gone well. The agreed schedule has been followed and the information on payments has arrived promptly. Even the one issue that arose was quickly resolved.

Helsinki Business School has supported WWF and MIELI ry with their donations. The missions of these two organizations align well with the staff's own values. Another good reason is drawing students' attention to mental health and its care –it promotes both well-being and long-term success.

Finally, Elodie Magnier wants to send her thanks to CharityBo:

− Thank you for the excellent work and the opportunity to donate to charitable causes. I am sure your wonderful service will continue to grow!
